Prodigal is a fast-growing AI company building advanced Agentic AI solutions for loan servicing and collections in the consumer finance industry. Founded in 2018 by IIT Bombay alumni and backed by leading investors such as Y Combinator, Accel, and Menlo Ventures, Prodigal has processed over half a billion consumer finance interactions across more than 100 companies in North America. Prodigal is currently hiring a Business Development Intern for a 4-month, in-office internship at its Powai, Mumbai office. The role focuses on outbound prospecting, lead qualification, campaign execution, and pipeline creation across the North American region (EST–PST). Interns will work closely with Business Development, Marketing, and Sales teams to convert market interest into revenue opportunities. High-performing interns may receive a full-time Business Development offer.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates must demonstrate high ownership, accountability, and discipline in executing tasks. Candidates should be comfortable handling rejection and iterating outreach strategies. Candidates must be curious about business development, revenue generation, and B2B sales processes. Candidates should be able to learn and understand complex products in regulated industries. Candidates with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be preferred. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, available in Mumbai.
