Neolytix, a leading provider of healthcare technology solutions, is looking for a passionate and skilled Machine Learning Intern / MLOps Engineer to join their team in Gurugram, Delhi NCR, India. This position focuses on building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) systems to support US Healthcare Claims Management and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes. The successful candidate will work with advanced ML models such as fine-tuned healthcare LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Claude), sequence-to-sequence models for automated tasks, and vector embeddings for claim identification. The role also involves integrating these models with APIs, cloud platforms like Azure, and version-controlled pipelines to streamline claims analysis, denial prioritization, and revenue optimization. It offers a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to impactful AI solutions in the healthcare industry.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The candidate must be proficient in Python, particularly with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles. Experience in building APIs using Flask or FastAPI is required. Familiarity with machine learning libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers is essential. The candidate should have knowledge of LLMs, SLMs, NER models, and vector embedding techniques. Practical experience with version control systems such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps is necessary. Proficiency in handling SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases is expected. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Docker/Kubernetes is preferred. Background in healthcare technology or revenue cycle operations will be an advantage. Candidates must have experience in operationalizing ML models in production environments. Only candidates who can demonstrate prior experience in deploying ML pipelines and CI/CD for ML systems are encouraged to apply. Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Gurugram (Haryana).

Responsibilities
As an intern, you will: Design and build ML pipelines for healthcare claims processing with automated training, testing, and deployment. Deploy and orchestrate ML models (LLMs, SLMs) using Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes for scalable production environments. Monitor and track model performance, data drift, and operational metrics. Establish CI/CD pipelines tailored for machine learning workflows. Develop data preprocessing pipelines for healthcare claims while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Optimize models for accuracy and cost-efficiency in real-world production use cases. Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to manage and reproduce ML environments and deployments. Document and create best practices for AI-based claims management systems.
