The HSBC Intern – Talent Acquisition Internship in Mumbai, Maharashtra is a full-time, one-year apprenticeship opportunity designed for fresh graduates who wish to build a strong career in Human Resources and Recruitment Operations. This Internship offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end talent acquisition processes, including onboarding, background verification, campus hiring, vendor coordination, and HR reporting. Interns will work closely with the HSBC HR team to support recruitment operations across multiple customer groups while ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience. The Internship is governed under the Apprentices Act, 1961, and provides a Government of India–recognized Certificate of Proficiency upon successful completion.

  • Eligibility Criteria
    Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • The applicant must have completed graduation or post-graduation from a UGC-recognized university.
  • The applicant must be a fresh graduate within 0–5 years of completing their Bachelor’s degree.
  • The applicant must not have previously undertaken any government-regulated apprenticeship.
  • The applicant must possess basic knowledge of full-cycle recruitment and sourcing.
  • The applicant must have strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • The applicant must demonstrate excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • The applicant must be culturally aware and capable of working with diverse teams.
    Note: This internship is exclusively available in India. Specifically, in Mumbai.

    Interns will:
  • Manage day-to-day talent acquisition and onboarding operations.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process from requisition to joining.
  • Handle candidate queries related to recruitment operations.
  • Support and monitor the background verification process.
  • Provide regular onboarding updates to recruiters and business managers.
  • Maintain data accuracy and reporting for pre-employment verification.
  • Manage campus placement activities and institutional coordination.
  • Assist with Day-1 induction presentations.
  • Handle vendor management, payments, and expense provisioning.
  • Prepare and circulate recruitment MIS reports and dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and recruitment process frameworks.
