M S Ramaiah Charities Trust Scholarship 2025
The M S Ramaiah Charities Trust Scholarship 2025–26 continues the legacy of Dr. M.S. Ramaiah, a visionary leader and philanthropist who believed education is the foundation for societal progress. Known as a ‘Karma Yogi’, Dr. Ramaiah dedicated his life to empowering underprivileged students by creating opportunities for higher education. This scholarship provides financial assistance to meritorious students from economically weaker sections, ensuring that no deserving student is deprived of pursuing Engineering, Medical, Master’s, or Ph.D. programs due to financial hardships. Through this initiative, the trust aims to uplift students, foster academic excellence, and contribute to nation-building.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Marks cards (SSLC, PUC/10+2, Degree/PG) CET/NEET/PG/University admission order and fee paid receipts. Transfer certificate (to confirm caste and religion). Present ID card or study certificate. Certificate from Taluk/District/State Balija Sangha. Aadhaar card copy Bank Passbook copy Passport size photograph Balija Samaj Letter copy (Download from registration page) Note: All documents must be attested by the principal/head of the institution.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: The applicant must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Karnataka. Open to both genders, exclusively for the Balija Community. Applicable for students enrolled in Engineering, Medical, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Ph.D. programs. Only students who have secured Government/Free seat quota and are currently studying in the first year are eligible. Students admitted through Private/Management/Comed-K quotas and those from neighboring states are not eligible.
