Pune Municipal Corporation Scholarship 2025
The Educational Financial Assistance Schemes 2025 are merit-based support programs implemented by the Pune Municipal Corporation for students residing within PMC limits. These schemes aim to financially assist meritorious students who have successfully passed Class 10 or Class 12 examinations in 2025. Under this initiative, two major schemes — the Bharatratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Scheme and the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Scheme — provide direct financial aid to eligible students pursuing further education in government-approved or university-recognized institutions. The schemes are strictly applicable to students residing within the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation.
Documents Required
Applicants submit the following documents: Marksheet (Class 10 or 12) Residence Proof Admission Proof Bank Passbook Copy Caste Certificate (if applicable) Disability Certificate (if applicable) Parent’s Details CBSE/ICSE Percentage Certificate (if applicable)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following criteria: Applicants must be residents of Maharashtra. Students must be residents within PMC limits. Students applying under the Bharatratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Scheme must have passed Class 10 in February–March 2025. Students applying under the Lokshahir Annabhau Sathe Scheme must have passed Class 12 in February–March 2025. Open Category students must have secured a minimum of 80% marks. Backward Category / PMC / Night School students must have secured at least 70% marks. Divyang students (with 40% or more disability) must have secured a minimum of 55% marks. Children of sanitation/biogas workers must have secured at least 65% marks. Blind students must have passed Class 10 or Class 12 (no minimum percentage required). Applicants must be admitted to a government-approved or university-recognized institute. Students must possess a bank account in a nationalized bank. Residents of Fursungi and Uruli Devachi Municipal Council areas are not eligible.
